How it started…

I used to be the person who went to my western astrologer, my eastern astrologer, and my tarot card reader looking for an answer - should I leave my job? Should I leave NY? Should I go back to school? 

I was looking around for my purpose thinking that someone else had it hiding in their pocketbook. As if someone else would have a better knowledge of my own soul’s journey than I did. 

I thought they could tell me something that I was missing, something that was magical and only available to those people who had access to that magic.

For years people asked me, “Will you read my chart?” I would say, “No, no. I’m not a professional. I’ll send you to someone who is a pro.” 

When I was yet again in a place of transition after leaving my full-time job, I went to a tarot card reader coincidentally named Veronica who I came across on Yelp! Sometimes the divine works through a Google search bar.  

Shortly into our reading she leaned back in her chair, took a drag from her Juul vape pen, and said, “You have the gift. You aren’t executing it. You should do astrology for people.” 

At this point I’d been asked so many times, I thought, “Well, maybe I will!” 

I left her apartment, walked the 5 blocks home to mine, and emailed my very first astrologer and asked her to teach me. No longer would the magic be someone else’s.
