EP 77: Sun enters Aquarius, Mars meets Uranus

It’s official. It’s a new dawn, a new day, and we’ve got a new President! The inauguration was held under a void moon, on the heels of the Great Conjunction, with Mars approaching his meet up with Uranus.

Mars is the force that pushes us forward and Uranus likes to break stuff. Not surprising that these two met up on the day when the glass ceiling finally was shattered and Madam Vice President Kamala Harris became the highest ranking elected woman in US history.

As I mention this week on the podcast, I was nervous about this inauguration chart. That’s why this episode is coming to you late this week and it’s shorter than normal.

This week I talk about:

  • why Aquarius is symbolized by the water bearer

  • why Biden might buck the dismal trend of US presidents being inaugurated under the Great Conjunction (Jupiter + Saturn)

  • how you might be feeling with 4 planets in the sign of Aquarius, which rules our central nervous system

There is plenty of astrology to come this weekend. The Sun is newly in Aquarius (as of Tuesday) and will be meeting Saturn for the first time in Aquarius since 1993!

The Sun and Saturn come together once a year to create a stabilizing energy, but this week they’re meeting up in the sign of electricity.

Pay attention to how you’re feeling, if you feel anxious or spacey, take time for grounding your physical body and don’t go overboard with your workout. A walk in nature is usually a good fix for whatever has you feeling unsettled.

Aquarius rules our nervous system, hopes, dreams, social activism, science, technology, and futuristic thinking. It’s a great weekend for doing some long term planning and visioning.

If, like me, you’ve been too distracted by the news to really make your game plan for setting your ‘21 dreams in motion… Let Venus sextile Neptune inspire you to day dream on Saturday and then dive into your calendar and schedule your plan of action.

Venus is still in Capricorn giving you the wherewithal to take your dreams and make them a tangible reality, as long as it’s blocked out in your agenda. Right now all the planets are answering to Saturn, he’s the boss, and he rules time.

So how do you want to spend your time this year?
