EP 135: Lunar Eclipse + Mercury Cazimi

Eclipse hangover anyone?

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio last Sunday was an intense excavation of your emotional state. Scorpio can be secretive and private. The energy of the Scorpion doesn’t show all its cards, so we might be unpacking this one for a while.

If you’re feeling exhausted, emotionally spent, or just confused about what time or what day it is… Then you’re having an eclipse hangover. Surrender your expectations and be with what is at this very moment.

Eclipse Season, which occurs every 6 months, creates an energetic vortex that seems to simultaneously speed things up and slow things down.

It’s hard to describe with words, but that could be because Mercury is still retrograde. He will be moonwalking back from Gemini into Taurus on Sunday, but before that he will be engulfed by the Sun. When Mercury hits the midpoint of his retrograde he experiences this conjunction with the Sun and thus our thoughts experience a purification of sorts.

You might notice a moment of crystal clear thinking that cuts through the brain fog.

The eclipse hangover will be amplified early in the week thanks to Mars and Neptune meeting in the sky. This can create a bad pairing of aggression and confusion, or it can be just the thing to break open the flow of creative juices.

Fortunately, the end of the week brings some fortifying transits. The Sun and Mars will make harmonious connections with Pluto, encouraging you to dig into your resilient nature and maybe even illuminate some resources that are available to you.

Go slow this week and keep your senses open. Surrender your expectations, and be with what is in the moment. Between Mercury retrograde and the eclipse energy still present, we don’t have all the info just yet.

Monday

In the shadow of the Lunar Eclipse everything feels murky.

Tuesday

The Moon in Sagittarius squares Neptune making you question what is true for you. A foreshadow for Wednesday.

Wednesday

Mars conjoins Neptune and all bets are off. This transit can have you operating out of emotion, anger, and confusion. For some, this could be a frustrating day. Be gentle with yourself and others. Don’t get into an argument with a stone-cold believer of any idealogy. If you can funnel this energy into creative pursuits you might feel the flow of the muse take over.

Thursday

The Sun trines Pluto helping you dig into your resources of vitality. With both in Earth signs, feeling your feet on the ground will be energizing to your soul.

Mercury moonwalks back to sextile Jupiter now in Aries. They were just here on April 27th when Jupiter was still in Pisces, what have you learned since then? You’ll get one more hit of this transit on June 20th, and by then you’ll have all the intel you’re seeking.

Friday

The Sun enters Gemini! Happy birthday Gemini babies! Time for connection, two of everything, and time with your local crew. Gemini rules your neighborhood and your siblings.

Saturday

Mercury hits the midpoint of the retrograde. While MRx is known for confusion, this day brings clarity. It’s like seeing the blue sky after a rainstorm.

Sunday

Mars sextiles Pluto helping you put a plan of action in place. This is a strategic transit. Although we’re in the midst of an uncertain time, it’s still good to have a plan, just be open to the plan changing as more is uncovered in the coming weeks.

Mercury backtracks into Taurus on his retrograde journey which will help you refocus on what’s pressing.
