EP 96: Full Moon in Capricorn

It’s Cancer season, which means the Sun is in the sign of the crab and the Full Moon occurs in the opposing sign of Capricorn. Generally, Cancer represents the Mother and Capricorn represents the Father. That means that this Full Moon has you digging into your roots and exploring where your anxieties, fears, doubts, and idiosyncrasies originate.

With Neptune stationing to retrograde this week the things that keep you up at night will be top of mind. Neptune rules the subconscious and retrogrades are an invitation to turn inward and reflect.

In fact, this is the perfect week to call up your therapist or explore a new healing modality you’ve been considering. The heavens are rich with healing vibes. That doesn’t mean it will be easy, but it does mean that you can access those breakthrough moments if you have the desire.

Desire is key, because Venus opposes Pluto. Pluto rules the deeper levels of our psyche, including our deepest wants. In fact, this week you might do your mid-year check in (yes, we’re half way through 2021!) and realize that what you thought you wanted back in January no longer moves your needle. If that’s the case, the Full Moon says, “let it go!” It’s always OK to change your mind.

Luckily with Mercury stationing direct on Tuesday you’ll start to find some clarity and some of the missing puzzle pieces might crop up. And, on Wednesday the Sun trines Jupiter making you feel generous, loving, and maybe even forgiving.

Warning: don’t let anyone take advantage of you.

Venus opposite Pluto can bring some power struggles into the full moonlight. I know you’re feeling vulnerable and emotionally driven with all the water in the sky, so it’s important to hold your boundaries.

The Cancer archetype teaches us to fill our cup first, so we can pour into the ones we love.
