On Saturday, December 4th, the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius arrives. It’s the final eclipse in this series that began in June 2020. Think about all that you’ve learned since then about your truth and how you communicate it to others. With the South Node in the sign of the law and the North Node in the sign of communication, our society has been reckoning with some seriously outdated beliefs, but so have you!

Eclipse season is here! On Friday the Full Moon Lunary Eclipse in Taurus gives us another opportunity to release the old and integrate the new. With the Sun in Scorpio opposite the Moon in Taurus issues around control, financial security, and power might be cropping up.

The New Moon in Scorpio arrives on Thursday 11/3 and brings with it an intensity that will force you to make the changes you need to make. The New Moon forms a T-Square with Uranus and Saturn, triggering the underlying frustration and restlessness we’ve been feeling all year.

Your fears and fantasies might be coming up from the deepest layers of your psyche this week. It’s Scorpio season, of course, which means the ghosts of memories past and our loved ones who’ve passed on are on our minds. This is the time of year when the veil between the material realm and the spirit realm is thin, and thus you might be receiving some spiritual insights or messages.

It’s the last week of Mercury retrograde and with Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter also returning to direct motion things the pack of life is about to pick up. Luckily, this week has some beautiful planetary transits that will help you finally do some healing and have some fun after last week’s intensity.

With a New Moon like this, who needs eclipse season?! The energy this week is intense! With the New Moon in Libra on Wednesday conjunct Mars, you might have the urge to react to something or someone. It’s not just Mars causing havoc, Pluto stops in the sky to turn around and resume forward motion after being retrograde since April - sheesh!

This week Mercury is officially retrograde. While you excavate the root cause of the issue at hand, you also get to formulate a brilliant solution as to how you will handle it going forward. Unfortunately, it might not be so easy to see past your emotions which have whiplash this week. If you’re feeling exposed, emotionally raw, or fragile you’re not alone.

You might find that this Libra season brings up some old ghosts, emotional patterns, or behaviors you’ve exhibited in past relationships thanks to Mercury retrograding through the Libra part of your natal chart. Yep, good ol’ Mercury is back to his tricks. He will be retrograding on September 27th, but we’re already feeling his slowdown.

This week kicks off in a haze as the Sun opposes Neptune, ruler of all things nebulous. Luckily this is the last of these Neptune oppositions for now, as the Sun is pulling up the rear of the inner planet conga line.

This week the planets are actually quiet! I think that is the first time I’m saying that since I started the Essential Astrocast in 2019. The week kicked off with the New Moon in Virgo in a harmonious trine to Uranus, the change maker.

Mercury enters Libra, the sign of the peacemaker. Win-win negotiations are finally possible again. You might have some confusion about what you want though, because Mars opposes Neptune, the ruler of fog, on Thursday. When you’re feeling helpless, especially during Virgo season, it’s an invitation to help someone else.

It’s the last week of Leo season and it’s going out with a bang. Not only do we have the second Full Moon in Aquarius within one Leo season, but we also have Uranus stationing retrograde! The Full Moon on Sunday is conjunct Jupiter, the planet of expansion, so expect some AHA moments, revelations, or illumination of your consciousness.

We’re still feeling those celebratory New Moon in Leo vibes, but you’re getting a dose of reality from all the Virgo energy in the heavens. While the sun is still shining bright at the party, the rest of the personal planets are getting to work.

It’s a New Moon week, which means it’s that time of the month to turn inward, to reflect, and to turn up the volume on your inner voice. The New Moon in Leo on Sunday maintains that square to Uranus, the change-maker, it’s time to choose the changes that you want to make in your relationships, your work, and your play time.

This week brings a reality check. Jupiter leaves the fantasy realm of Pisces and returns to intellectual Aquarius. While the Sun and Mercury will be opposing the planet of limits and boundaries, aka Saturn. This Thursday the Sun roars into Leo and on Friday we have the first of 2 Full Moons in Aquarius! The Full Moon in Aquarius is an invitation to let go of the groups, communities, and friendships that no longer feel supportive.
